Hey BloggerLuv Crew, it’s Ileane! From the door, I’d like to thank each and every single member of this community for your participation and your support. I huge thank you goes out to Mr. Wonderful for caring enough to make this happen.  I bet many of you had no idea what to think of this place when you first got here; or at least you had no idea BloggerLuv would be this awesome, right?

You’re so lucky because you get to experience what it’s like to be part of a thriving community of bloggers that’s runs on BuddyPress AND it’s DoFollow.  Although BuddyPress isn’t new it certainly has come a long way and it’s getting a lot of attention since it was integrated with WordPress 3.0 (code name Thelonious). We can talk more about BuddyPress later and  in the meantime you can check out this BuddyPress 101 video that was posted up on WordPress.tv just in case your blogging circle expands to the point where it’s about to burst and you decide to start a community one day (it’s always good to think ahead because you never know).

John talks about how me and Karen have a Google PR 3 on our BloggerLuv profiles. It might not be a big deal to some but it just goes to show, that it can be done and believe me any one that comes here and checks out your profile is certainly headed over to your blog! Check your traffic stats if you don’t believe me. Here’s a tip – make sure that when you write about BloggerLuv – link to YOUR PROFILE in the blogpost (like I just did)!

Before I go I just thought of another tip you can experiment with – think about adding a default link to your CommentLuv account that points to your profile or group here at BloggerLuv. #Imjustsayin it’s something I did so I wanted to share that with you. Hope it helps.
